Osservatorio dei Mestieri d'Arte
The Florence Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte organizes, develops and promotes a series of cultural initiatives to encourage and awaken public interest in artistic crafts.
OmA wants to create a European network of institutions to encourage and promote the understanding of the various cultural identities and to analyse thoroughly the themes of the quality of productions.
OmA intends to monitor the history, tradition, techniques, projects and innovations through publications, conferences, congresses, workshops and practical lessons of artistic crafts to promote them. La rivista (the magazine) is the tool to analyze the themes of Florence’s artistic crafts and its traditions, but also to show the best achievements in Italy and abroad. The magazine is bimonthly and it is distributed together with I FATTI, the newspaper of the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze.
