Meeting between OmA, SEMA and the Avignon Academy
The meetings between OmA and their European partners continue, to plan a common policy of interventions in favor of artistic crafts.
Saturday, May 17, 2008 a meeting was held between OmA’s scientific committee, presided over by Prof. Giampiero Maracchi, and Madame Brulé, director of SEMA (Société d’encouragement aux métiers d’art www.metiersdart-artisanat.com), who, together with Blando Palmieri, Project Coordinator for the Avignon Academy of Handicraft, and the PMI’s in Europe, were the guests of OmA to devise a work plan oriented towards European interventions to safeguard and promote artistic crafts and to put online a common program of interest for the most important state members.
